A Midsummer Night’s Dream

I recently finished some work helping out the marvellous theatrical knitter Trevor Collins, we were making a number of knitted costumes for Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream. You can see some of the costumes on the fairies below, and for more pictures and information, and the place to buy tickets, go to the theatre’s website here.

  1. Hi Allie,
Amazing! Trevor taught me at Middlesex University in the 80s when I was studying for my undergraduate honours degree in Constructed Textiles. A colleague of mine, Lucilla, much younger than I, was also taught by Trevor too – he came up in conversation and we realised how many people he had touched with his marvellous work. I’m Janet Browne, Programme Manager in the Learning Dept. at the Victoria & Albert Museum. Are you able to pass on my contact details to Trevor and ask him to get in touch sometime? My number is 020 7942 2184 and my email is j.browne@vam.ac.uk Thank you.
